ONE VISION | RECONCILIATION
At Newsong LA, we pursue the ministry of reconciliation as we experience and invite others into restored and life-giving relationships with God. We also pursue reconciliation and restoration in our relationships with others, in our communities, and in our city. We strive to embody this vision through the life of our church and in our everyday lives.
TWO COMMANDS | LOVE GOD & LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR
Our commitment to our vision is rooted in Jesus’ words. In Matthew 22:37-39, Jesus says that the greatest commandment is to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind….” and to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Our desire to be reconciled to God and one another stems from a love for God and for God’s diverse people. Out of this love, we seek the wholeness and well-being of all. |
THREE VALUES | CHRIST, COMMUNITY, & CAUSE
In all of our ministries, whether with our young children to our small groups, three values help shape all that we do. As you get involved at Newsong LA, you will hear us ask how what we do aligns with each of these values. CHRISTGrowing in our knowledge and relationship with Christ COMMUNITY Investing in meaningful and edifying relationships with others CAUSEEngaging in God’s mission of reconciliation and restoration |
